I finally finished the cardboard bear I started last year. I’d nearly finished him, but couldn’t get the eyes right and put him way in a huff! It was only when he fell off the top of the fridge, where I had put him that I remembered it and redid the eyes and then gave it a few coats of varnish.
I quite liked making him and have it in mind to make something else, but not sure what. I did think that if I varnished something with marine grade varnish – which is very easy to find here – I could make something to live outside.
This was the bear pre-varnish and painting of the nose!
