This is really a reminder for us for next year 🙂 We didn’t do very well with courgettes last year – in fact I think we were still planting new plants now trying to get them to grow.
This year we planted them at the start of May – and planted the seedlings much deeper than before so they didn’t get blow around so much.
We also planted further apart than before so hopefully they’ll get less mildewey.
First courgettes 17th June. Plenty of flowers so hopefully lots more to come.
It’s sadly not a red and green courgette – the red is a reflection off my t-shirt!
