Cucumbers and courgettes are coming through now from the first plants we planted. We’ve sprayed with copper whatever to help stop the mould on the leaves, however I think that’s something that just happens.
We had one cucumber plant which mysteriously died – it was established and had flowered etc, yet just appeared to die overnight so not sure what happened there.
We haven’t staked the cucumbers this year, so we’ll see how they compare to last year.
Suprisingly we’re doing OK with raspberries this year. At least the birds have left us some!
