I think that the eucalyptus cutting has been finished. Yesterday a different machine arrived, this time a sort of cross between a digger and a combine harvester and neatly bundled all the leftover twigs and bits and pieces into bales and took them away.
It’s been interesting to watch. They haven’t been working every day, so I imagine that the same machines are working on all the eucalyptus plantations which are being felled at the moment and they get them all to the same stage and then another machine comes long to do the next bit.
