I have just come back from a visit to see everyone in Swanage.
We managed to pack a lot into three days!

I did the whole trip on public transport and it was pretty successful. There was a delay going out which was probably more my optimism regarding making connections rather than anything else and in the future i won’t book the connecting buses as they are pretty frequent and it takes the pressure off if the plane is a little late.
I did enjoy the bus from Santiago to Burela as it went through basically every village between there and here (I think it was 88 stops! I wasn’t counting, that’s what it said on the timetable) – and it was a great way to see some different places. It was a little over three hours, so quite a trek but I didn’t have to change so it was just a case of sitting there! Fortunately (or unfortunately?), there’s just the one bus a day and only on week days, so if I had missed it, it would have been a long wait – but happily that all went smoothly!
This is my itinerary (for my reference)
Bus Cervo – A Coruña – 7.48 – 10.50
Bus A Coruña – Aeropuerto de Santiago 12.00 – 13.00
Flight Santiago – Heathrow -Vueling VY711s SCQ – LHR 16.55 – 18.00 LATE
Bus Heathrow – Bournemouth Flixbus 18.55 – 21.00 MISSED
Bus Bournemouth – Swanage (morebus 50) 21.40 – 22.45 MISSED
Looking at flights from A Coruña and comparing those as they may be a little easier to get to.
