Well, Ian is partially right. Scooter does follow me round the fields, so close that I keep stepping on her. However, she did nuzzle quite happily up to the gate post in the garden, and yesterday she ran straight past me and jumped into the chair where I sit when I feed her, waiting for the chair to feed her, ignoring me completely. Ian has made her a feeding bucket now, which means that mum will now be a white bucket with yellow lid.
No more lambs, although we thought that Freckles is beginning to look very solid and I think that Moulty’s udders are getting more noticible.
The two boys seem to be putting on weight and are trotting quite happily along side their respective mothers.
Yesterday it was really warm and we had breakfast and lunch outside. It was raining by tea time though. However it did remind us of how much we like living here. We have had no more viewings since the one last Monday. Their only feedback was that the ground was wet – which it was as it had rained heavily. However it does drain very well and it would have been good if they had come back on Weds and seen how it had drained.
We did have a researcher from Channel 4 come round on Thursday, looking to feature the house in a programme where a couple were looking to get away from it all and run a rural business. I don’t think anything will come of this though as we should have heard by now.
I heard on the radio yesterday the fact that BLOGS are the way forward. They are going to shape opinion and direct our thoughts. I don’t think they could have been referring to ours.
