This is Dumpling, the Shih Tzu, formerly know as Ariane. She’s a couple of years old and, as you may notice from the photo, is missing one eye. She’s blind in the remaining eye, but appears to cope very easily with it, which isn’t much of a surprise following our experience with our other blind animals. She’s very friendly with us and, after some early growling with the other little dogs, she’s starting to realise that they’re part of her new pack and is being friendlier to them too.
