Great Easter Egg Hunt

Sheep feed has never been so exciting, we managed to fit 3 whole tonnes into the back of a Fiat panda, and screaming the clutch made it all the way to 20 MPH in only half an hour. By the time we got to Brampton the car was flagging somewhat, and Sue needed more chocolate, so we stopped. My plan to murder Andy failed, the car needed to be bump started. Being the weak and feeble female I assumed the position behind the steering wheel (steady now there neddy!). After a few botched attempts the car was running. When Andy was getting back into the car I lurched it forwards throwing him to the floor. A small alteration to the left and I trapped his head below the rear wheel. His sqeak of delight at having a car parked on his head brought onlookers and gawkers from far and wide. Unfortunately he survived, and he’s still alive and kicking (me).

I’ve never seen so much chocolate, or seen it disappear so quickly. Sue really is the definative chocaholic, she can’t walk past a bar of the choc without eating it. She started the day with a treasure map “Ye Olde Egg Hunt”, where she had to wander ’round the homestead finding trasures of chocolate, over the cycle path, past Olde Reekie and wading though the sampy ravine to find mouth watering choccy delights.

The day started with rain, and it’s still raining now. By morning, when the prospectives come to view the house we’re sure to have a raging torrent rushing past. I hope the sheep can swim, maybe i’ll fit water wings and issue the ducks with instructions on how to help them.

Ian’s probably back in Keynsham now. I hope his flight wasn’t too traumatic, we did forget to tell him how inefficient airliners are in wet weather. CRASH POSITIONS! CRASH POSITIONS! It’s dark as night now (it being night afterall) please send dingies, enough for 3 people and a menagerie of animals (and beer).

  1. What a strange blog …. I could almost believe it was written by a third hand!! After all, surely as Susan’s sister you would never have been surprised at the amount of chocolate she could consume!!

  2. So Ian chose a good day to come to Keynsham. Weather beautiful here all day, but it made up for it today (Tuesday), hasn’t stopped all day!
