The lemon tree was due a bit of a haircut. It was in quite a bad way when we moved here and then got lovely and leafy – and this last year it produced a lot of lemons but had come very straggly so it was due cutting back.
It could probably do with cutting back more but it looks better than it was.
The pic below is how it was when it started bursting back into life again but before it got straggly. I guess we need to aim for something between the two. Not too leafy but not too straggly.
